Privacy Policy

Aura ("the app", "we", "our") is an editorial AI style-finder published by Alican Tilki. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you use Aura, why we collect it, who we share it with, and your rights.

1. What we collect

When you use Aura, we may process the following:

• Your selfie photograph — taken with your camera or chosen from your photo library. Selfies are stored locally in the app's private storage and sent (encrypted in transit) to our AI partner for aesthetic analysis and transformation generation.
• Your six "vibe" answers — city, weekend mood, favourite era, weather, daily accessory, music preference.
• Your gender presentation choice — masculine or feminine — used only to match you against the appropriate archetype set.
• An anonymous account identifier generated by Firebase Authentication. This identifier is not tied to your name, email, or phone number unless you explicitly link an account.
• Subscription and credit usage data — when you purchase a plan, RevenueCat and Apple/Google share your purchase receipts, subscription status, and renewal information with us.
• Device diagnostics and crash data — Firebase Analytics and (optionally) Crashlytics collect device model, OS version, app version, locale, and anonymous usage events to help us improve the product.
• Tracking identifier (with your consent) — if you grant App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS, your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) is used to measure how aesthetic readings perform for users like you. You can revoke this anytime in Settings → Privacy → Tracking.

2. How we use it

• To analyse your selfie and answers and return your aesthetic archetype.
• To generate AI transformation portraits when you request them.
• To maintain your subscription, credit balance, and purchase history.
• To measure how well the app performs and to fix bugs.
• To respond to your support emails.

3. Who we share it with

We share data with the minimum necessary set of vendors:

• Wiro.ai — our AI processing partner. Selfies and vibe answers are sent to Wiro for archetype analysis and transformation generation. Wiro processes your image and returns a structured result and/or generated portraits. Wiro's privacy practices apply to that processing.
• Firebase (Google) — Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Analytics, Remote Config. Hosted in the europe-west1 region.
• RevenueCat — subscription management, billing attribution, and entitlement state.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — for in-app purchases and subscription processing.

We do not sell your data.

4. How long we keep it

• Your selfie is stored in the app's local storage on your device for as long as your analysis remains active. We do not retain a copy on our servers after AI processing completes.
• Your analysis result, vibe answers, and generated portrait records are stored on Firestore as long as your account exists.
• Anonymous device-level analytics may be retained for up to 14 months per Firebase defaults.

5. Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Delete your account and data from inside the app: Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your analysis, transformations, and subscription record from the device. To also cancel billing, manage your subscription in the App Store / Play Store.
• Revoke tracking consent in iOS Settings.
• Request access or rectification of data we hold about you by emailing hello@alicantilki.com.

6. Children

Aura is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a minor has provided us data, email hello@alicantilki.com and we will delete it.

7. Security

We transmit data over TLS, store credentials in iOS Keychain / Android Keystore, and access all server-side resources through Firebase security rules that restrict writes to authenticated Cloud Functions. No system is perfectly secure, but we use industry-standard safeguards.

8. Changes

We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the "last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
